The Inspired Systems Cold Rail Detector provides continuous temperature monitoring - allowing adjustments to be made to loads and speed of travel, reducing external stresses and the likelihood of the rail suffering stress breaks.

The Inspired Systems Cold Rail Sensor is glued or clamped onto the base of the rail and makes direct contact with the rail material.  This allows for accurate recordings to be taken of the local steel.
